Mojo's new owners write as follows: "After having to put our beloved 14 year old Golden down (who we adopted through rescue 12 ½ years ago), we felt the emptiness in our home. Everywhere we looked we saw where he would have been at that particular moment had he still been with us. We quickly realized we needed to fill that void with another Golden as life just wasn’t the same – no one to take a walk with, no one to greet us with a wagging tail when we came home and no one to share some dog loving moments. We contacted Arizona Golden Rescue and began the process of adoption. We were very impressed with everyone at AGR who we talked and met with. Thank God there are people giving their time to work for the organization and opening their homes to these loving animals until they are adopted. We were fortunate to adopt Mojo, a 2 year old Golden who AGR rescued from a Texas rescue organization. Mojo has been with us a week and a half now and we’ve learned a lot about him and he’s learned a lot about us. We have settled into a routine that satisfies all of us. Mojo was used to a doggie door which we don’t have so there was some confusion on his part for all of less than 24 hours. He was told when he needed to go out to go to the door. He only needed to be told once and has followed that system ever since. Although he loves to have us home with him, when we leave for work, he stays in a gated area of the home with no fuss. He loves everyone who comes to our home, especially our 3 year old granddaughter who he treats very gently. Mojo has fit right in with his new family and his new home and we are all much happier now. Thanks AGR from all of us."
