 Shaggy is a lovely, blonde Golden who is very attached to his red-gold brother Teddy. Both came in together and now have a great home in Tucson. Shaggy and Teddy get to sleep on big beds with the kids in the family and go swimming and take long walks. (They need to work on their leash pulling and get used to the family rabbit.) The family says that Shaggy is just great and can't wait until Teddy is done with his vetting so he too is official: "After losing our last two Goldens over the past couple years, we were ready to fill the void left in our house. We wanted to find a couple Goldens to fit in with our busy family, and ones who would be good with young children. We knew right away we had found a match when we pulled up to meet Teddy and Shaggy and they both ran outside, jumped into our van, sat down in the back row, and looked eagerly at us to start driving. It was as if they had just been waiting for us to come get them to take them home. They have fit in with us perfectly since then and, in fact, rotate from night to night as far as which one of our beds they will choose to sleep on. They even resist their instincts to catch our rabbit now and seem content to just watch him in the backyard like he is their entertainment. They are gentle, patient (except at walk times!), and wonderful companions for all of us. We look forward to our kids growing up with them and having the same experience I did when I was a child with a Golden as my best friend. We appreciate all the help AGR provided to make Teddy and Shaggy part of our family."
