IMG_1307Fresno4x6-HFresno was left in the neighorhood when his owner moved and left him behind. Fresno has been on his own with angels watching him, either his eventual rescuer or the renters who have been in the house for two years and want to get rid of all the dogs in the house.  He has lived outside his entire two years there, has ticks and who knows what else. His coat is horrible, he limps and is very thin.  He gets along with cats, dogs, kids, but is very shy because he has had no real people interaction since the owner moved. AGR was contacted and Fresno was swept up to the vet and treated.  He has had a long road back to recovery including amputation of an unfixable previous injury to his left front leg.  After rehabilitation by his wonderful foster, he now has his forever home with two Golden sisters, one Golden brother and of course his human family.  His family says, "We've got our first week down and Fresno and the rest of our gang are learning how to interact with each other.  He managed to take a "swim" earlier in the week so we told him if he can stay out of the pool until the weather and water warms, we'll go out and let him do it the right way!  We've discussed the fact that Fresno obviously did NOT have a good relationship with a male - he relates to females wonderfully without hesitation.  Jeff has been very patient and loving with him, talks softly to him, gives him lots of love and affection and yesterday he was actually excited when Jeff walked in from outside and he gave Jeff his first kisses!  Jeff was really happy, as was I."
