Abby was rescued from the shelter in the nick of time by one of our great volunteers. In her words, "Hi Everyone...Well I made it! Whew...They almost goofed today at the Eastside Shelter Bigtime! I'm a sweet girl,so full of love just fearful of that place, its very loud and scary. I might just get a good night sleep tonight.I'm all nestled in my little room (crate) and am quit content. Everyone here seems to love me and they think I'm very cute.I've been getting tons of attention and affection..and can I tell you I love it!" After her fostering period and her vetting complete, Abby went to her forever home. "What can I say, Abby is a sweetheart!! For being 14mos approx. & not really knowing her background & what baggage she came with, she is adapting very well. She is head strong & I have to keep telling myself she is still a puppy! She & Jake her new buddy, who is 7yrs old( he's a red golden) are getting along great. They play till they wear each other out! With him a dark red & her light gold color they compliment each other. She still thinks the cats are strange & wants to smell & play. They stay out of her way. She started obeidence training yesterday. There is hope - she must listen & learn to walk on a leash. That's where she becomes head strong & a hand full as she has lots of strength. When she came home after her 1st class she slept all afternoon & night! She's filling out & is becoming a beautiful golden. I know she thanks everyone especially, Arizona Golden Rescue and her foster mom Judy for saving her & for giving her a forever home with us. Thanks Az Golden Rescue.
