Ben, formally Benji, came to AGR from the Humane Society. He did find a home for several months but came back into rescue. After a brief stay with a foster, this charming, ball crazy, 8 year old went to live with a new family and is now enjoying playing with his new Golden sister. His new mom says,"Do I love Ben!! All's well here with the addition of Ben in early December. At first there were a few little spats with Rosie as to who was "the boss" here and it turned out to be neither of them as It's me.
He's bonded like a glove. I was told he absolutely loved balls and boy were they right. He loves going to the dog park to race after balls tossed with a "launcher". It didn't take long for him to find the "woobie' basket here and actually has Rosie playing with him. Now if only could teach both of them to pick up their toys before they go to bed.
He had a little separation anxiety at first when I left the house without him but has come to realize that I do return. He now greets me at the door with excessive tail wagging and a happy smile.
He's the first rescue I haven't had to take off 20-30 pounds as he is just right! He's absolutely the best."
