 Chirpa was saved from the Eastside Shelter by one of AGR's volunteered who immediately went to get her in the nick of time. After liveing for many weeks with her great foster family, Chirpa went to her new home. After a HUGE goodbye to her foster mom and dad she was off. When Chirpa and her transporter arrived at her new forever home she did all her business out front and Chirpa continued inside. It was of course the perfect transition with no events. She was just happy to have the BEST yard ever, and mom that loved her, a dad that does the belly rub, and she really really LOVED the teens. Her new family says, "The day she arrived, she seemed to know she was home. As soon as she came into our house, she heard my son and his friends waking from a sleep-over. She immediately ran upstairs, licked Kevin's face, then laid down next to him. She didn't move for almost an hour! She had found her best friend. Although Chirpa loves all of us, her favorite person is our son, Kevin. And Chirpa is Kevin's favorite. He finds this fat little girl so beautiful that he thinks she should be given a super model's name (remember this is a teenage boy's reasoning!). Everyone should have the privilege of knowing unconditional golden love. Thank you for bringing Chirpa into our home."
