 Dylan is a very sweet 7 yr old that had to be given up by his owner because of foreclosure. The owner had two dogs and had to give one up because of his circumstances. Dylan was very upset that he had to leave and it took a while for his foster to bring out Dylan's playful, happy side. He went to what should have been his forever home with a man who applied for Dylan specifically. Due to the unexepected death of his adopter, Dylan returned to rescue and has now found a wonderful home with a family that loves him a lot and this time he gets to be friends with cats! His new mom says, "I am currently in process of adopting my first Golden. Yes he is from AGR rescue. His name is Dylan. He is a big ol teddy bear. He likes to bring his frog to bed at night so he can sleep with it. He is very smart, loving and loves to give kisses. He likes it even more when my husband comes home from work. He is jumping while greeting my husband. I think he is a great dog and a perfect match for our family. He isn't bothered with my cats. My cats are not afraid of him. That is a first for them. This is the first big dog they have not been afraid of. It is so cool when my Star kitty comes up to him and gives him a kiss on the side of his face. I feel blessed. He is worth the wait.
We changed his name to Clifford. It seems to fit him and he answers to it with a big ol smile and tail wagging. He loves all of us and loves to play outside with my son. When we go to bed he has to be cuddled up between me and my husband. He seems to feel secure when he knows he is loved and we are with him. He is a great dog and we all love him very much.
