23-089 Honey Bear is a 6-year-old spayed female Golden Retriever. The owner has a 1-year-old and a 2-week-old baby. They also have a 10-year-old Lab that Honey Bear got along with fine. They contacted AGR about 3 months ago, and each time transport was arranged they changed their mind. Now they have surrendered as they are overwhelmed with the new baby and some financial issues. Honey Bear is sweet, easy going, relaxed, but at times she can get dopey. She gets anxious if around more than two dogs at once. To determine how Honey Bear would do with a strange dog, we placed her with a family that was fostering another one of our dogs. She was a little apprehensive at first but was much better after a few days. No adoption addendum was issued because the adopters offered to cover her valley fever meds and retest. They changed her name to Daisy and are very happy adding her to the family.
