EAT, HELP THE ENVIRONMENT AND MAKE $$ FOR AGR
We are collecting empty, salty snack bags, which include: individual snack bags, family-size bags and multi-pack snack bags. AGR will get one point or two points for each bag (depending on the quantity we send in each time) and a penny for each point. It can add up when you think of all the snack bags out there. 12-100 Rusty needs your help in finding a new Home
Rusty is a very special dog that needs a special home. Please read the letter by our President to see if you or someone you know could be that "Special Forever Home" for Rusty.

Arizona Golden Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c) (3), charitable organization whose mission is to rescue displaced Golden Retrievers and mostly-Golden Retriever mixes that may have been abused, abandoned, neglected, unwanted, or surrendered by their owners due to previously unforeseen circumstances and to find new, permanent homes for them. Rescued dogs are given a complete veterinary exam and their vaccines are updated. They are also microchipped, spayed or neutered, and tested for valley fever and heartworm. The rescued dogs are then placed into Foster homes or "Foster With Intent To Adopt" homes till they are permanently placed with their new "Forever Homes." Arizona Golden Rescue is a "Non-Shelter Rescue" with all dogs staying in Foster homes till adopted.
***What we do for the Dogs***
Arizona Golden Rescue provides emotional and medical rehabilitation and will pay for all medications and for necessary surgeries prior to adoptions being finalized. If "Bonded Pairs" that fit our criteria are surrendered to AGR we will guarantee that the pairs will stay together. Through education at public appearances, AGR seeks to educate the public about the Golden Retriever breed and about responsible dog ownership, in order to help reduce the unwanted dog population.
If you are interested in adopting a Rescued Golden Retriever or Golden Retriever Mix, the best way for us to find just the right dog for you is to fill out the Online Adoption Application form under the Membership and Adoption drop down menu above so that we may contact you to start the process. Their is no obligation for any payment or to adopt by filling out the application.
***Where we Operate***
Arizona Golden Rescue's rescue efforts are concentrated in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, but we will take dogs from all areas of the state and sometimes even from out of state. Arizona residents will be given priority as potential adoptive families. However, we will consider an out-of-state adoption if there is no approved in-state family that matches a particular rescued dog.
