Arizona Golden Rescue

22-009 Nani is a small 2-year-old purebred Golden. She was originally purchased from a breeder. When she started throwing up and having diarrhea, the owners could not afford to have her treated, so they surrendered her to the vet. One of the vet techs wanted her but soon realized that she could not give her enough attention because she had a toddler, two small dogs, a small yard and worked full time. So, she called AGR to take the dog. After we had her vetting completed, we placed her with an adopter in Phoenix. She related:

Every day this precious dog makes me laugh. She carries her rope carrot or tennis ball in her mouth everywhere she goes. She is very affectionate and we cuddle on the winter grass in the sun. Happy new life, Nani.
