24-080 Juno has a beautifully-tragic story to tell with the HAPPIEST ENDING. Juno is a Sheltie-sized Golden mix with a beautiful, fluffy, multi-hued blond coat. A stray found in Mexico, Juno was a shelter surrender to AGR. Being that he was a stray, there was no background information on him. He endured a surgery to remove his damaged eye. Sadly, there were other medical issues to contend with for Juno. An adoptive family felt their heartstrings being tugged when they heard about Juno; they knew he was the dog for their family. It was love at first sight when we saw our one-eyed Juno’s photo online, and we were so excited when we were told he was a possible match for our family! As he was transitioning with his forever home, he would only eat intermittently, crouch down as though he would be scolded and was afraid to be touched because he was so anxious. We could only imagine what Juno went through before he was rescued by AGR, and we were inspired to love him more. With the help, guidance and encouragement of Liz and others for countless conversations, trial and error, vet and dental visits, we are so happy to say that Juno is now relaxed and is really enjoying his new home. He now loves pets, enjoys boat rides on the lake, our morning walks and always sits beside us on his spot on the couch. We are very impressed with the AGR adoption process and grateful to everyone for all the support! An incredible new beginning has been granted to Juno because of all the love and dedication that the adoptive family have passionately bestowed on Juno.
