24-085 Westley is a 4-year-old male Goldendoodle who has a coat like a teddy bear. Having a child with severe health issues, the owners reluctantly had to surrender Westley. There was much interest in Westley; an AGR volunteer fostered him until his forever home was found. Not too long after Westley was surrendered, an adoptive family fell in love and added him to their home. Upon arriving at his new home, their children played with Westley, trying to make him sit. It was quite a delightful scenario to behold. They said: We love him! He settled in easily with the family and our routine. He is a great dog and we are grateful to have him. The boys keep him busy playing ball to work off his extra energy and probably the boys’ energy as well! Westley has completely blended in with our family and is doing great. We love him so much and are very grateful to be providing his forever home. He is the perfect mix of active energy to play A LOT with our kids, but then knows when it is time to relax. He will even put himself to bed, of course not in a dog bed, but in our bed when he is ready. A compliant, gentle and calm dog, it is easy for him to have made new friends with other dogs in the neighborhood. He loves tennis balls, well maybe fetching them, but he is learning about returning them! Here is a funny story about Westley: We introduced him to snow on a trip to Flagstaff. He bounded around like a deer and had a ball! He is a wonderful dog! Congratulations to Westley and his new family!
