25-002 Dexter  is an adult 6-year-old neutered Golden Retriever who sports a beautiful chestnut coat.  Dexter  was surrendered with his sister  25-003 Pretzel , a 3-year-old spayed Golden Retriever. They are a bonded pair  and the original owners wanted them  to be adopted together. Being parents of a 16-month-old child did not allow them to give the dogs the attention they deserved. With only good wishes and intentions, they wanted  Dexter  and  Pretzel  to be with a family that could  provide these things for them. These dogs were from a home filled with love and exceptional care. Then along came an adoptive couple, dog savvy and proactive owners, who wanted to Foster-with-Intent-to-Adopt BOTH! After losing their Golden, they were ready to foster. He wanted a golden-colored Golden, while she wanted a cream-colored Golden; now they have one of each.  Pretzel  is an expert in zoomies, while chasing balls is a specialty for  Dexter .  Pretzel  is full of energy and loves to bark at the  big black birds.  Dexter  just watches and laughs.  Dexter  is known for his calm and obedient manner, as well as for his kisses and cuddles. They keep their counters clear and anything chewable up high so Pretzel doesn’t have the time to show off these behaviors. Both dogs are fabulous with children. As the adopters enthusiastically state: 

Dexter  and  Pretzel  are two new great family members. As bonded brother and sister, they play Tug-of-War with their rope toys. The adopter spoils them with her homemade dog treats, which they immensely enjoy! They mind very well and are a joy to have. Thank you  AGR ! 

Both dogs are thriving in their home  due to the extensive love and attention of the adopters.
