25-007 Frida is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever who found her forever home with an adopter and his teenage daughter and son. Her surrendering owner just didn’t have the time to care for her. Upon arriving at the adopter's place, Frida found the grassy area and began to just roll around, running and being entertained by the family's teenagers. A happy, playful yet calm dog, some of her favorite activities include riding in the car and sitting on the couch with you! She has the cutest “smarl.” What is a smarl you might ask? When Frida smiles, her teeth show which makes it look like a snarl, but it’s really her showing off her pearly whites. Lo and behold, it’s her way of being friendly! Enjoy this anecdote from Frida’s owner: OK, so on the first day when Frida was brought to our house, Frida showed active interest in the pool in the backyard. At first, we were afraid she would jump in, but she has yet to do that. Instead, she just walks up to it and looks at the water. It is almost as if she knows how fun it could be. But nobody was going in the pool, so she would just stand there and look. My daughter has begun going to the pool and sticking her feet into it. Frida loves that, because then she can sit next to my daughter and stick her nose in the pool. We expect it will be great fun when we are in the pool and Frida sees that. How much do we want to bet that when the temperature rises above 100 degrees, they won’t be able to get Frida out of the pool! Frida’s ideal home is here with the adopter and his children!
