25-014 Honey is a gorgeous sweet 5-month-old female Golden Retriever/Lab mix with a deep red coloring and white chest, surrendered because she was too energetic and jumped on the owner's kids. When she arrived at the adopters' home, everyone felt the vibe that she was NOW at her forever home. She immediately stole the adopters' hearts. What a Valentine’s gift for all of them! They decided to give her the name Trixie. The adopters made it easy for her to become happy and comfortable in her new home. With that kind of love, how could you not feel safe and that you belonged! She easily adjusted and as you can imagine was extremely curious with all the new surroundings. What words would you use to describe a puppy? Do playful, sweet, energetic and a bit stubborn come to mind? If they did, then that is Trixie. Here is how Trixie came to be in this amazing home.

“After losing our Golden of 13 .5 years, we hadn’t planned on getting a new dog right away. Well, that lasted a week! Recently retired and volunteering again with AGR, we fell in love with Trixie. We had not had a puppy in 20 years! She is all the fun and challenges that we expected with a puppy. She is a nice mix of Golden, Lab and the other part is Velociraptor or Land Shark. We are having a great time together, exploring the world and learning the manners of a proper lady. This is all coming along great.”
