25-023 Max  is a 2-year-old male Golden Retriever who is sweet and good-natured. The surrendering owner was unable to continue to care for  Max . An approved adopter was there to become  Max’s  forever home. Here is what she says about her  Max : 

He is such a calm puppy, considerate of dogs and people. He has four other dog siblings in the house. Even  when another dog takes his toy, he lets them – he just gets another one out of the pile. It is as if he is saying "No biggie!” 

Max  takes his treats gently and sleeps on the bed with all the others. He has a calm disposition – the adopter has never heard him growl at anyone or anything. Here are some sweet anecdotes from the adopter: 

He does enjoy throwing toys up in the air and always shares them. He is not destructive, but he does chew up magazines, as if he’s trying to read them before I do! His favorites are the TV Guides and recipes ! 

Max  has mild epilepsy and takes his meds like a champ. He has lots of dog friends, one being  Tedd y a former  AGR  dog who visits. According to the adopter:  I think he likes just about everything and everybody!  Leash training is a work in progress, because when he sees something or someone in his path, he just wants to be his big friendly self!  Max , you sure are one lucky dog to have found this adopter!
