25-025 Sasha , now known as  Bailee , is a 6-year-old female Goldendoodle who spent her first 5 years as a breeder dog.  Bailee  was saved by her adopters who have brought much love and attention into her life. Well... let’s just say  Bailee  had a few surprises in store for the family. The adopter shares an entertaining description of  Miss Bailee

It  turns out  Bailee  is terrible in the car. Her idea of travel involves pacing, whining, and attempting to ride shotgun whether there’s room or not. And while she may look sweet and angelic,  Bailee  is not exactly the “dog park socialite.” She struggles around other dogs, often more of a menace than a playmate. Sadly, it seems she missed out on proper socialization in her earlier years, and that makes interactions a challenge .

Bailee  has also revealed some talents that have brought some laughter and bit of anxiety for the family. As the adopter vividly describes:  She can jump nearly as high  as a six-foot fence, leaving us both impressed and mildly terrified.  When a siren wails in the distance, she channels her inner Victorian widow – lifting her head and unleashing a long, mournful howl. Sometimes, we can’t resist joining in, creating a very unique family chorus. And every morning, without fail,  Bailee  wakes her human mom, by bouncing on the bed like a semi-committed kangaroo, ensuring that sleeping in is no longer an option.

The love in the following sentiments will make you smile and maybe just say “Ooooooh, I love this!" From their heart, read what they want you to know:  Bailee  may not be the easygoing road-trip companion or dog-park darling we expected, but she has found her people – and we love her, quirks and all. Adoption isn’t always  about the “perfect fit” on paper. Sometimes it’s about embracing  the surprises, celebrating the chaos, and discovering joy in the unexpected. We certainly want to thank  Arizona Golden Rescue  and  Bailee's  foster family for all of the help with the transition.

How wonderfully heartwarming for  Bailee  to be living with this adoptive couple!
