25-026 Ruby is a 4-year-old female Golden Retriever who has been described as energetic, sweet, friendly, and loves to be close to people. Her surrendering owner was unable to care for her due to a long-term illness. Ruby has fit into the family perfectly. She spends her days visiting my husband and me for pets while we are working from home and has been a guest in many video calls/meetings. Here is a heartfelt moment shared from the adoptive mom: We have a senior rescue dog named Fred who came from a hoarding situation. He’s shy and a bit nervous and didn’t learn how to be a carefree dog. Since Ruby has joined us, he has become more outgoing and is learning how to be a dog. Ruby woofs loudly: These humans!
