25-036 Lilly  and  25-037 Fin  are English Cream Golden Retrievers originally from Serbia.  Fin , a 2-year-old male, and  Lilly , a 3-year-old female, both had successful show careers in Serbia, winning many competitions. Their owner's health was failing and, with upcoming surgery, she was unable to continue caring for this beautiful pair.  Fin  is full of goofiness, energy, and love, while  Lilly  is calmer, with an adventurous spirit and a curious eye always on what’s next. They are deeply bonded and prefer to be near each other. The pair found their perfect forever home with an adoptive couple, experienced, loving, and responsible dog owners who provide them with a large backyard and even a swimming  spot.  Lilly  is sweet, smart, and crafty. These next tales of  Lilly  and  Fin  are hysterical and will keep a smile on your face:

We call  Lilly  a princess because she loves to lounge on soft surfaces. During training, she surprised us by proving she might actually deserve the title Queen. One day, we  had set up barriers on the bed to keep the dogs from climbing up.  Lilly   managed to jump onto the bed anyway, pull back the comforter, drag a silk pillowcase to the center, and curl up for a nap as if it were her rightful throne!  Fin , on the other hand, is our fun-loving boy with his big “polar bear” paws and endless eagerness to play. But despite being a retriever, swimming is not at the top of his fun list. We’ve tried many times to teach him, but he tends to forget about using his back paws. He’ll dogpaddle enthusiastically with his front legs while his back end sinks, leaving him bobbing  upright in the water until we help him float horizontally again.  We assumed swimming would come naturally, but  Fin  proves us wrong every time – head held high, front paws paddling, back-end sinking.

What a pair of silly, fun and loving dogs who are living their best lives with these adopters!
