25-043 Jaxson  is an 8-year-old male Golden Retriever with the heart and energy of a pup half his age.  Jaxson  came to his new home with an adopter after his owner, with great difficulty, had to surrender him due to a move. It was clear how loved he was, and it shows in his gentle, affectionate nature. This sweet boy wants nothing more than to be near his people – lounging on the floor, snuggling on the couch, or curling up in bed at night. Belly rubs are his favorite, and he’s happiest when showered with attention. Despite his mellow side,  Jaxson  still has plenty of playful spark. He is best friends with  Mishka , the other dog in his home. The adopter says:  Jaxson  has an adorable way of “poking”  Mishka  with his nose to start a game; we call it his “woodpecker move. ” Listen to how  Jaxson , also known as  Jazzy , is a park favorite: 

At the park,  Jaxson  is a true social  butterfly, making his way to every human in sight to collect the “Golden tax” of pets and scratches. Strangers and friends alike are charmed by his sparkling personality. True to his goofy Golden ways,  Jaxson  sometimes snacks on socks (whole!), so a little vigilance is needed, but it only adds to his lovable quirks.  Jaxson  is a sweet, loyal, and happy soul who loves people, loves life, and has settled beautifully into his new home. With his big heart and Golden grin, he makes every day brighter.
