25-056 Holly  is a 7-year-old female Golden Retriever who found her forever home with an adoptive couple after her first owner passed away. Having a sweet, gentle nature, plus the love from the adopters,  Holly  easily transitioned to her new home, as they would like to share: 

Holly  is a great dog, and she makes our life much more enjoyable. We have had her for  three months now, and it has been very rewarding to see her settling in to her new home and start to open up and relax. 

A well-behaved dog, she never barks and has been accident free. She has adjusted to the rhythms of her home. One of her favorite things is belly rubs!  We have made good progress with her separation anxiety and are able to crate her and leave for a few hours without major distress.  Holly was rescued by the adopters, but I think she has rescued them also. Here is why!  Her favorite thing is her twice-a-day walks. She does a little dance when it’s time for a walk. She has encouraged us to increase our walking distance to two miles a day, so that is a plus for us to get more exercise.
