25-065 Mickey, now known as Jack, is a 2-1⁄2-year-old male Golden Retriever with boundless energy. An adoptive family have become Jack’s new forever home, and he is thriving! He is cute, and boy oh boy does he know it. Outgoing, friendly and smart are the best descriptors for Jack. Jack is well loved as evidenced by the family’s sentiments: 

Jack is such a great addition to our family! He is so loving. He and Maverick have bonded nicely. They are buddies. 

Here are a few of Jack’s favorite things... daily walks, visits to The Home Depot to meet new people, chasing squirrels, as well as playing in Christopher Creek and hiking. Commands are no problem for him. He is an expert with sit, stay, and place and is working on come. He’s perfectly house trained. You have to just love this feeling: The best thing is he loves to be loved. Not just a hiker, Jack treasures his time in the pool, and especially the bath that comes after to remove that chlorine odor! At breakfast time it’s a sight to see Maverick and Jack sitting and waiting for the command to eat! As his new forever family says: Life is great with Jack and Maverick in our family.
